Belleville, IL. (1/11/22) Offering some of the nation’s best Lightning Sprint racing year after year, the POWRi Rocky Mountain Lightning Sprint Association aims to continue the on-track excitement in 2022 with a variety of twenty-nine race dates at four premier Centennial State facilities ranging from April until October including a pair of POWRi National Lightning Sprint events.
Starting the season on Saturday, May 3rd at their home facility of I-76 Speedway, in Fort Morgan Colorado, the POWRi RMLSA season will kick-off after a pair of practice dates on April 3 & April 10 visiting the speedy venue on eleven racing dates throughout the 2022 season including the Don Flood Memorial on June 4th, the Al Wilson Memorial on July 2nd, and the Fall Brawl Season Finale on October 7-8.
Calhan, Colorado’s El Paso County Raceway will see the exciting series on six separate occasions in 2022 with the POWRi RMLSA making both wing and non-wing trips on the year with Honor Speedway, in Pueblo, Colorado along with Phillips County Raceway in Holyoke, Colorado also witnessing their fair share of Lightning Sprint speed including the El Paso County Fair on July 22nd, as both tracks will host tree events apiece throughout the season with each venue racing both wing and non-wing contests including the annual fan-favorite Frank Potoker Non-Wing Classic at Honor Speedway on August 20th.
Doubling down on the POWRi Lightning Sprint National Events in 2022, with bonus incentives provided by Tomy Moreau courtesy of Henchcraft Canada, will see a pair of series host six national racing events to span the season of excitement.
Memorial Day Weekend, on May 28-29, will mark the continuation of the POWRi Lightning Sprint Nationals hosted at Central Missouri Speedway by the POWRi Midwest Lightning Sprints.
Witnessing drivers make the long journey to the north for the second annual POWRi Lightning Sprint Summer Shootout. August 11th through August 14th, outstanding racing venues in North Dakota and Minnesota and the POWRi Lucas Oil Minn-Kota Lightning Sprints will welcome top-notch drivers to test their talents in a challenging two-state four-day sweep of racing glory.
