Belleville, IL. (1/24/22) Quickly establishing a dominant racing program throughout the Midwest, third-generation open-wheel talent Ayrton Gennetten of Versailles Missouri, will next embark on a quest of national notoriety with commitments at events within the developing Lucas Oil POWRi 410 Wing Outlaw Sprint League.
Emerging as a threat of on-track dominance every time he enters an event, Gennetten is no stranger to gaining victory hardware in various classes. Acquiring a coveted Golden Driller in the 2017 A-Class Tulsa Shootout, Ayrton continued his progression in the sport by earning the 2017 360-Rookie of Year award presented by Knoxville Raceway.
Gaining a points championship in 2020 with the ASCS Warrior Region, Ayrton would set his sights a little higher the following year by notching the 2021 Knoxville Nationals Rookie of the Race as well as the 2021 Knoxville Nationals Rookie of the Year award.
Finishing an outstanding season of competition in 2021, Gennetten would find victory lane on nine separate occasions between 360 and 410 races while driving his iconic and family-familiar #3 into thirty-two top-ten finishes throughout sixty-three events entered with a phenomenal crew supporting including Steve Gennetten, Chad Morgan, Steve Daniels, and Randy Johnson.
Heading into 2022 Ayrton emphasized “We want to run anywhere and everywhere with the goal of winning races on our mind, from Outlaws, Knoxville, All-Stars, POWRi, and whatever else. We haven’t set our sights on points for POWRi, but if situations fall right, and we have a shot come September of winning it, you can count on us going for the championship.”
Representing Fischer Body Shop, Baughman Motorsports, Ozark Barge & Dock Service, Wet Steps, Hibdon Gravel, West Side Automation, Midland Performance, The Stuart House, Tony Stuart Racing (TSR), Pro Powder Coating, High-Performance Lubricants, Momentum Racing Suspensions, Fiberworks Composites proudly, Gennetten aims for continued success entering into the 2022 season with scheduled appearances on the year within the POWRi 410 Wing Outlaw Sprints.

To say I’m excited is an understatement, I’ve dreamed of racing 410s with the help from the Fischer’s and the tracks bringing 410 racing here is a dream! I just wish it was five years ago when we first got into racing sprints” concluded Gennetten.
