Craig Ronk Claims Victory at Macon Speedway with Jacksonville Speedway Up Next

Belleville, IL. (4/16/22) Craig Ronk would flex their racing might in dominating fashion by holding off all challengers on his way to victory lane in the POWRi 600cc Outlaw Micro League presented by Engler Machine & Tool feature event at Macon Speedway to earn his fourth career POWRi Micro feature victory.

Entering thirty-seven strong for the POWRi Outlaw Micros would witness Willie Urish start the night off strong by gaining the quickest hot-lap time with a 10.301-second lap with Tanner Tinsley, Cole Tinsley, John Barnard, and Garrett Benson each winning their respective heat races. Billy Lieb and Breanna Wirth would each win a semi-feature event.

Starting seventh for the twenty-lap feature event, Craig Ronk would lock in the victory for the stand-alone POWRi Micro competition and launch out to a commanding feature lead under green flag racing with Garrett Benson and Willie Urish in hot-pursuit.

Fending off all challengers on a late-race restart Ronk would emerge victorious to claim the checkered first leaving Benson to place in the runner-up positioning with Urish placing third. Brianna Wirth would hard-charge through the field to place fourth as Eric Braundmeier rounded out the Macon Speedway top-five finishers for the Engler Machine & Tool POWRi 600cc Outlaw Micro League.
