Belleville, IL. (4/24/22) Starting the season off strong in the POWRi RaceSaver Sprint Division, Trevin Littleton of Jacksonville Illinois would emerge victorious at Lake Ozark Speedway for the first race of the 2022 weekly season.
Battling the unpredictable weather of the Midwest, the POWRi RaceSaver Sprints would fly onto the smooth as glass surfaces of “The Lake” for Opening Night with outstanding wing-to-wing action from the stout fifteen entry field with Mike Trent and Trevin Littleton each grabbing a heat racing victory.
Overcoming an early caution that would strike a handful of top competitors from competition, third starting Littleton would appear on a mission of speed for the entire event. Jumping out to the lead, Trevin would not be denied in his quest for his first LOS POWRi RaceSaver victory in his young career.
Flying through the field from starting tenth would find Kenny Potter trying to run down the speedy Littleton, only to settle into finishing second with eleventh starting Jack Potter also flying through the field to place third. Stanley Kreisel would be in the mix up-front all night placing fourth as Josh Poe rounded out the top-five finishers for the Lake Ozark Speedway POWRi RaceSaver Sprints feature event.
