Belleville, IL. (5/15/22) Wes Wofford would solidify his ranking of second in the all-time win column for the POWRi Jackson Compaction Vado Wing Sprints, capturing his ninth career victory over a stout twenty-one field at Vado Speedway Park in the “Hot City Nights – Ciudad Jaurez Night at the Races”.
Early on-track action would witness heat race victories from Dylan Harris, Vance Wofford, and Derek DeMartino with Vance Wofford and Dylan Harris lining up on the front row entering the feature event.
Racing from starting fourth, Wes Wofford would drive to the front of the field past early leader and brother Vance Wofford and hold the top spot to earn his first win of the season. Dylan Harris maintained an outstanding runner-up placement with Rick Ziehl finishing third. Front-runner CJ Hulsey would place a solid fourth leaving Royal Jones to round out the top-five finishers at Vado Speedway Park with the POWRi Jackson Compaction Vado Wing Sprints.
