(7/11/22) Witnessing outstanding open-wheel action from all four series, the POWRi Lightning Sprint National Point Chase continues to grow in excitement as competitors from across the country would find events held throughout the Midwest, Minn-Kota, Rocky Mountain, and Southwest Series over the weekend to offer valuable National Points.
Adding to their all-time POWRi Lightning Sprint win counts would observe national point leader Alex Truscinski continue to ride the wave of winning Minn-Kota momentum notching his seventeenth regional career feature victory and sixth win of the season; as the Southwest would witness Brent Sexton earn his fifth career win while nabbing the second feature victory of 2022. Rocky Mountain competition would find first-time winner Josiah King park his ride in victory lane with the Midwest making history in Chasity Younger becoming the first female driver to win a series feature event.
