Belleville, IL. (2/18/2023) Unveiling into the debut year of racing, the POWRi Hornet Division looks to build a foundation of quality action weekly while giving drivers and tracks a cost-effective footing. Capping a National Champion after completing the March 31st to October 1st points season, which driver will claim the top spot in 2023 as the first-ever divisional champion?
At this time sanctioned facilities scheduled to take part in the inaugural season of the POWRi Hornet Division will include Bolivar Speedway, Callaway Raceway, and Lake Ozark Speedway with several additional facilities currently in negotiations for events as tracks form their season agendas.
Competing members will earn points based on the POWRi sliding-scale system, as ten entries are considered a full field and receive full points, with the best twenty performances throughout the season judged in the yearly points chase. The highest points earner from the season will gain the honor of the 2023 POWRi Hornet Champion.
