Belleville, IL. (4/16/23) Competing through the tough competitional POWRi Jackson Compaction Vado 305 Wing Sprint feature event would find Wes Wofford capturing Easter Celebration checkers over a stout field at the premier Vado Speedway Park to notch his twelfth career series victory.
Early on-track action would find Derek DeMartino earn the quickest hot lap time with a 15.733 lap time as Royal Jones and Lorne Wofford would earn the heat race victories. After an intermission redraw would shuffle the first few rows as Lorne Wofford and Mike Archuleta would lead the field to green as the first row.
Speeding from the sixth starting spot, Wes Wofford would wheel his way into victory lane capturing the feature event to gain his first series win in 2023 within the POWRi Vado 305 Sprints as pole-sitter Lorne Wofford would finish runner-up with fourth-starting Derek DeMartino completing podium placements.
Staying close to the lead pack from starting fifth would find Aydan Saunders finish fourth with Ricky Holden rounding out the top-five finishers at Vado Speedway Park with the POWRi Jackson Compaction Vado 305 Wing Sprints for the Easter Celebration event.
