Belleville, IL. (6/11/23) Returning to Aztec Speedway for a two-night stay of racing enjoyment, the POWRi Desert Micro Series would highlight excellent wheelwork in their fifth and sixth seasonal events as Devon Amos and Joshua Huish would grab the feature wins in the Stock Non-Wing Micro division.
Kicking off the Aztec Speedway Night One action, Devon Amos would notch the heat racing win while also earning the pole-starting grid for the feature event for the expanding series.
Green flag feature racing would find inside front row starter Devon Amos would outpace the field as the checkers flew to earn their third career DMSS victory with third-starting Cody Dons placing a solid runner-up. Staying in contention toward the front, Joshua Huish would finish third with Jerry Campbell placing fourth as Kasyn Mathews rounded out the top five for the POWRi Desert Micro Series at Aztec Speedway on Friday.
Finalizing the weekend of the Aztec Speedway, Joshua Huish would notch the heat racing win while also earning the pole-starting grid for the feature event on Night Two.
Green flag feature racing would find pole-starter Joshua Huish earning the feature win as checkers flew to gain their third career DMSS victory with night one winner Devon Amos notching a solid runner-up showing. Progressing toward the front, Cody Dons would finish third with Jerry Campbell placing fourth as Kasyn Mathews rounded out the top five for the POWRi Desert Micro Series at Aztec Speedway on Saturday.

Next up the newly formed POWRi Desert Micro Series will return to Fairgrounds Speedway, in Cortez Colorado, on June 17th for the Stock Non-Wing Division.
