Belleville, IL. (7/24/23) Finding a four-pack of racing action on tap, the POWRi Lightning Sprint Division would assemble at a trio of regions completing the weekend competitions at fantastic hosting venues as entrants chase points in continually developing the National Championship picture. With action aplenty, the youthful brother-sister Taves duo remains steadfast in bringing back a championship to the northernmost region while running one-two in the standings as the race-limiting threshold comes into play.
Feature winners over the weekend would include Kenny Bowers earning his fifth career feature victory racing at Electric City Speedway in the Midwest on Friday as Johnny Boos would return to victory lane to earn his divisional leading forty-second career victory in the Rocky Mountain region while battling at Honor Speedway on Saturday. The Minn-Kota area would see a double shot of first-time victors with Kate Taves attaining her first career win at Greenbush Race Park and little brother Mathew Taves, gaining his first career win number at Buffalo River on Sunday.
