Belleville, IL. (10/3/23) Finalizing the yearly quests and accomplishments of title-clinching performances, the POWRi National and West Midget Leagues as well as the POWRi Outlaw Non-Wing Micro League will see action at a trio of premier Oklahoma facilities while honoring open-wheel industry icons in four days of speed on October 11-14.
Starting the four-day Oklahoma showcase of speed, Creek County Speedway will welcome the POWRi National and West Midgets Leagues as well as the POWRi Outlaw Non-Wing Micro League on Wednesday, October 11th for the inaugural running of the Sooner State Showdown.
Returning to Port City Raceway in the Donnie Ray Crawford Sooner State 55, presented by Hard Eight Racing in collaboration with The Donnie Ray Crawford Legacy Foundation, Thursday, October 12th will celebrate the life of an Oklahoma driving legend with the POWRi Outlaw Non-Wing Micro League as well as the POWRi National and West Midget Leagues, running in conjunction with the Xtreme Outlaw Midget Series, in a Fifty-Five lap feature with a top-paying prize of $5,555.
Continuing with the highly successful change of location and extension of racing dates, the 19th Annual Charlene Meents presented by Driven 2 Save Lives will once again tackle the red-clay and fast times of I-44 Riverside Speedway for a two-day open-wheel spectacle on October 13-14 honoring the groundbreaking innovator of our sport.
Scheduled to crown a champion on the front stretch after the final competition in the 19th Annual Charlene Meents Memorial presented by Driven 2 Save Lives at I-44 Riverside Speedway on October 14th will witness the POWRi National and West Midget Leagues celebrate the yearly accomplishments of each league title-earner.
