Belleville, IL. (10/9/23) Expanding and evolving to meet the demand for cost-effective and competitive sprint car racing throughout the Show-Me State, the POWRi 305 Sprint Series debuted with a spirited sixteen-event schedule completed in 2023 with Tipton Missouri talent Brett Combs residing atop the rankings as the first-year seasonal title holder.
Driving into a divisional leading eleven feature starts; Brett Combs would use consistency to clinch the championship by racing into top-five finishes in four events on the year with six placements residing inside the top ten.
Ending the season with back-to-back personal best showings of podium placements, Combs would hold off the seasonal quest of rising rookie Natalie Doney of Odessa Missouri who ended the season with a win and second in the standings as well as Jack Potter from Lee Summit Missouri who placed third.
Finishing fourth would find Kenny Potter, of Harrisonville Missouri, outpacing multi-time feature winner Terry Easum, of Broken Arrow Oklahoma, would dominate in the events attended while rounding out the series top-five debut seasonal standings.

Competing members earned points based on a sliding scale system, as ten entries are considered a full field and receive full points, with the best performances throughout the season judged in the yearly points chase. The highest points earner from the season gained the honor of the 2023 POWRi 305 Sprint Champion.
