Belleville, IL – After their weekend off, the POWRi Speedway Motors 600cc Outlaw Micro Series will head to Belle-Clair Speedway on Friday, May 13th before taking to Southern Illinois Raceway on Saturday, May 14th. After starting off the season on the high-banked fifth mile, Belle-Clair has hosted two action packed POWRi Micro events so far in 2016 with Nathan Benson taking both. Saturday, May 14th will be one of two events for Southern Illinois Raceway to host POWRi in 2016. Both tracks are known for their high-banked nature, close racing, and slide jobs galore, this will be a weekend fans and drivers won’t want to miss!
In POWRi Speedway Motors 600cc Outlaw Micro Series point standings, Three-time champion Nathan Benson leads with a 260 point advantage over Slater Helt. Joe B. Miller has the third position with a 40 point lead over Matthew Howard. Shelby Bosie is in the fifth position. The POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget Series will be back in action on Friday, May 20th at Fayette County Speedway and Macon Speedway on Saturday, May 21st.
