$5 Grandstand Admission Announced For Lincoln IL Speedway Season Finale
This Friday's Season Championship Night Features Six Classes
It's hard to believe but just one night remains on the 2016-schedule at Lincoln IL Speedway and it's coming up this Friday, September 2. The season championship finale will be a great night for fans to bring their whole family, friends, neighbors, and more, as admission through the front gate is just $5 per person. Fans will see a full six division show plus kids will receive goody bags.
Lincoln Speedway attempted a similar $5 fan appreciation night for August 12 but the event was rained out. For that event, fans had to pick up vouchers from area businesses to receive the reduced admission. At this week's event, the vouchers are not necessary to receive the reduced admission. The $5 admission night this Friday is to give fans thanks for their support during the first season of Track Enterprises promotions at the Logan County Fairgrounds racetrack, get some new fans to the track who haven't been there this season, and to finish with a big crowd.
In addition to the cheap admission, kids will be treated to goody bags featuring pencils, erasers, stickers, flags, crayons, and Lincoln Speedway coloring pages.
On track action will include Pro Late Models, Modifieds, Sportsman, Big Ten Street Stocks, POWRi/Illini D-II Midgets Presented By Nutech Seed, and Hornets. Grandstand admission is just $5 with kids 11 and under free. Pit gates will open at 4:00, grandstands at 5:00, competitor pill draw will end at 6:00, hotlaps begin at 6:15, and racing will take the green at 7:00.
