Belleville, IL – This Thursday, October 20th will kick off the 4th Annual Jason Leffler Memorial at Wayne County Speedway, an event sanctioned by both the POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget Series and USAC. Doubling down and again paying $20,000 to Win, the 4th Annual Jason Leffler Memorial is the richest paying midget event for 2016 and will feature some of the best midget racing talent from across the United States.
Previous Jason Leffler Memorial Champions include the freshly crowned 2016 POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget Series champion, Zach Daum (inaugural, 2013), Daryn Pittman (2014), and the late Bryan Clauson (2015).
Stringer Holdings, owned by Wayne County Speedway track owner, Doug Stringer, manages the NASCAR, World of Outlaws, and POWRi race sponsorships for Great Clips. Leffler represented the world’s largest salon brand in the NASCAR Nationwide Series from 2006-2011. As a tribute to him, Great Clips is proudly serving as title sponsor of the Jason Leffler Memorial race.
