Lincoln, IL) - The POWRi Lucas Oil DII Midgets are coming off of a strong Illinois SPEED Week, which saw solid fields of cars at Macon and Lincoln Speedways last Saturday and Sunday night. The division will now be back in action this Friday, June 9 as part of the Arctic Cat All-Star Sprint car show at Lincoln Speedway, which will feature Tony Stewart behind the wheel.
This week's POWRi Lucas Oil DII Midget show, presented by Nutech Seed, will see increased pay of $400 to win and $80 to start and will be seen by a packed grandstand of race fans. The Arctic Cat All-Star Circuit Of Champion Sprint Cars, UMP Pro Late Models, and UMP Modifieds will also be in action.
Pit gates open Friday at 3:00 grandstands at 4:00, the Sprints will begin hot laps at 5:45, and racing will take the green at 7:00. Grandstand admission will be $30, while kids 11 and under are free.
