INDIANAPOLIS, IN (June 11, 2018) - Lincoln Speedway hosts the POWRi Lucas Oil WAR Wildcard Sprints this coming Friday, June 15 in Lincoln, Illinois for the first and only time in 2018.
WAR Wildcard debuted at Lincoln Speedway in 2017 and Dave Darland was the driver standing in victory lane at the conclusion of the night. Mario Clouser, Joe B. Miller, and Landon Simon are the three WAR Wildcard victors so far in 2018.
Ohio native, Landon Simon currently leads the WAR Wildcard points over Mario Clouser (2nd), Slater Helt (3rd), Korey Weyant (4th), and Terry Babb (5th).
Meanwhile, The POWRi Lucas Oil WAR Sprints have suffered two schedule date losses. Randolph County Raceway has decided to pull both WAR events from the schedule. Originally, WAR planned to be in Moberly, Missouri on Saturday, June 16 and Saturday, July 28. The WAR staff is in search of a replacement venue for the July 28 date.
With the June 16 event cancellation, next up for the POWRi Lucas Oil WAR Sprints is a two day weekend starting at Midway Speedway in Lebanon, Missouri on Friday, June 22 followed by Lake Ozark Speedway in Eldon, Missouri on Saturday, June 23.
