Oberlin, Kansas – March 16, 2019 - The Kansas-Based United Rebel Sprint Series president Rick Salem has announced that the Kansas 305-cci sprint car series and Illinois-based POWRi Racing Series have formed a partnership for the upcoming 2019 race season.
“We are excited to be aligned with POWRi and we look forward to working with them to help build their 305 sprint car division. With POWRi aligning with IMCA/Racesaver not much will change and with their dedication to open wheel racing we feel it will just be an added benefit to the Series, our Sponsors and our Racers,” says Salem.
The URSS will continue to utilize the IMCA Racesaver sprint rules package and will kick off their 14th consecutive race season with a pair of events to open the month of April. Season will kick off on Friday night, April 5, at 81 Speedway in Park City, Kansas with a special $800 to win event, courtesy of Precise Racing Products. Then on Saturday night, the tour heads to Dodge City Raceway Park for a $700 to win event.
