Belleville, IL – After a successful Sixth Annual Turnpike Challenge, the POWRi Lucas Oil West Midget League sets its sights on returning to I-44 Riverside Speedway in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on Saturday, April 13th. I-44 was the host of two nights of the Turnpike Challenge, which was swept by Logan Seavey, marking a sign of defeat for Christopher Bell, a first in Turnpike Challenge history.
Heading into I-44, a strong field of competition for the POWRi Lucas Oil West Midget League is cropping up. After a podium finish in night to of POWRi Turnpike Challenge competition at I-44, Hank Davis carries strong momentum into the weekend. Davis’s third place finish was behind Logan Seavey and Christopher Bell. Trey Marcham also had success during the POWRi Turnpike Challenge, with a top ten that night, as well. Other notables to be on the lookout for include Wesley Smith, Luke Howard, Matt Sherrell, and Blake Edwards.
