BELLEVILLE, ILL. (July 10, 2019) - In lieu of POWRi being dropped from the program on Sunday, July 14 at Sweet Springs Motorsports Complex, the staff at Humboldt Speedway in Humboldt, Kansas has graciously extended a hand in giving both the POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget League and the POWRi Lucas Oil West Midget League a place to round out their weekend on Sunday night.
“I’d like to personally thank Humboldt Speedway promoter Ryan Whitworth for extending the offer to run us on Sunday, July 14th,” commented POWRi owner, Kenny Brown. “After the news was released that we were dropped from the program at Sweet Springs, Ryan reached out and asked if we would like to run at Humboldt on Sunday to round out the weekend.”
Before heading to Humboldt on Sunday night, the POWRi Lucas Oil National / West Midgets will encounter Valley Speedway in Grain Valley, Mo. on Friday and Saturday, July 12-13, alongside the POWRi Engler Machine & Tool Outlaw Micros.
“With all of this happening on such short notice, I’d encourage everyone that attends on Sunday to extend a ‘thank you’ to Ryan, as well. I’m positive the teams and fans will enjoy the racing that POWRi will put on this weekend, Friday and Saturday at Valley Speedway and then Sunday, at Humboldt Speedway.”
For fans unable to attend Humboldt Speedway, Speed Shift TV will have a LIVE pay-per-view broadcast available on Sunday. Subscribers to the VIP pass will have access, while single-day passes are available for purchase at www.speedshifttv.com.
