Belleville, IL. (05/15/2020) Joining the POWRi sanctioning body in 2020, the Minn-Kota Lightning Sprint Series is eager to get their inaugural season underway. Friday, May 22nd and Saturday, May 23rd Lightning Sprint competitors from all over will swarm North Dakota, to battle on the dirt at Red River Valley Speedway and Devils Lake Speedway.
The POWRi Minn-Kota Lightning Sprint Series event at Red River Valley Speedway on Friday, May 22nd includes the Pit Gates opening at 4:30 pm, Drivers Meeting at 6:30 pm and Racing starting at 7:00 pm on the fast 3/8 mile fairgrounds dirt track in West Fargo North Dakota.
Saturday, May 23rd the POWRi Minn-Kota Lightning Sprint Series will then travel west to Crary, North Dakota for some fast Devils Lake Speedway racing. The pit-area will open at 4:00 pm, with the drivers meeting scheduled for 6:00 pm. Hot Laps begin at 6:30 pm as racing starts at 7:00 pm at the ¼ mile semi-banked dirt speedway.
