(06/02/2020) The POWRi Midwest Lightning Sprints opened their season at I-35 Speedway Saturday night with eighteen cars registered in the pits the racing action was fierce all evening. As the largest opening night car count in the thirty-three-year history of MLS, competitors would take to the near-perfect track with Stanley Kreisel earning the edge and onto the feature victory.

Fans can catch more exciting racing of the MLS on Saturday, June 6th back at I-35 Speedway for their second week of competition in 2020. Pit’s open at 4:00 pm with driver’s registration between 4:30-6:30 pm. Hot Lap action will kick off the dirt-tracking action at 6:45 pm with racing to follow.
