Belleville, IL. (09/21/2020) The POWRi Lucas Oil New Mexico Motor Racing Association would once again revisit their home facility of Sandia Speedway on Saturday, September 19th to compete for the fifth Non-Wing 360 sprinter race of a shortened season. Battling on nearly every inch of the three-eighths mile oval for the duration of the feature, speedy and smooth Don Grable would grab his second feature victory of the year.
Earning an earlier heat race win, #45x Don Grable would be on a mission Saturday night at Sandia Speedway with the POWRi NMMRA, driving from a fifth starting position to the front of the field in feature racing. Keeping pace with the front-runner Grable while passing a bunch of competitors in the process, Spencer Hill #11w would earn a hard-charger award to go with his runner-up placement with an outstanding race from starting eleventh. Michael Fanelli #2, Robert Marfia #24, and Clint Miller #58 would round out the top-five, with Miller gaining a heat race victory as well.
