Belleville, IL. (09/28/2020) The well-known, Dave Mac Motorsports two car team with Ace McCarthy and Noah Gass are gearing up for a full two nights of action to take on their first Gold Crown Nationals at Tri-City Speedway in Granite City, IL.
Ace McCarthy of Tahlequah, OK. is the driver of the Toyota-TRD Spike No. 28 for Dave Mac Motorsports. On the 2020 race season, McCarthy has earned two wins, both coming back-to-back at Valley Speedway in Grain Valley, MO. Three top five finishes and 8 top ten with the POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget League. McCarthy is looking to add another win to his belt in hopes to conquer the Tri-City Speedway.
The POWRi Lucas Oil National Points are very tight and curtail to all drivers this time of the year. Even with the season being cut short, there is nothing short of an exciting battle going on up front. McCarthy is sitting in the third position, only 510 points behind the leader, Jake Neuman. With six races left on the schedule, McCarthy could come out on top.
Teammate to Ace McCarthy is Noah Gass. The Mounds, OK. native is the driver behind the Toyota-TRD Spike No. 20G. Gass is a very versatile racer and ranges from anywhere in midgets and Sprint Cars. His best finish on the 2020 race season with the Dave Mac Motorsports team came to him this past weekend with the POWRi Lucas Oil West Midget League at I-44 Riverside Speedway, which resulted in a second-place finish.
Noah Gass currently sits in the 12th position in season championship points with the POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget League. Out of ten races Gass has one top five finish and one top ten. With the POWRi Lucas Oil West Midget League, Gass currently sits in the seventh position with four top five finishes and four top ten.
