Oklahoma City, OK. (10/17/2020) One of the few drivers pulling double duty this weekend, Bryant Wiedeman of Kolby, KS. got it done for the final night of the 16th Annual Charlene Meents Memorial with the POWRi Engler Machine & Tool Micro Sprint League.
Setting his name up for success, Wiedeman earned Advanced Racing Suspensions Heat Race 1 win which ultimately earned himself the AFCO High Point man. Wiedeman lined up on the pole for the 20-lap main event. Lane Warner out of Bloomfield, MO. lined up to the outside of Wiedeman to make up the front row.
At the drop of the green flag Wiedeman took off to the early lead and never looked back. The field scattered for positions as Wiedeman was strong enough to get over a straight away lead over the rest of the field. The caution flag waved for the 08E of Elizabeth Phillips as she came to a stop on 3&4.
The field stacked back up and prepared for green flag racing. Wiedeman still leads, Joe B Miller follows behind in second, and Trey Robb in the top three. Going back green Wiedeman took off to the advantage as second and third place battled for position. Wiedeman stayed strong and captured his second career POWRi Engler Machine & Tool Micro Sprint League Victory.
“The track was pretty good, and this is just a fun place to run, I had a blast. It’s great to end the POWRi season with a win.” Bryant Wiedeman
