Belleville, IL. (10/29/2020) Back by popular demand and with added incentives, Performance Open Wheel Racing Incorporated and Live Sim Racing TV have partnered together for the Inaugural POWRi Midget iNationals, set for the two-day cyber-race date of December 11-12 and featuring the side-by-side midget racing-action of the virtual tight corners of Fairbury Speedway.
To be held in the digital realm of Fairbury American Legion Speedway a purse of $6000 will be on the line for competitors with the winner gaining a $1000 payday. For only a $50 entry fee, the Top-20 feature finishers will be in the payout as the top-three non-transferring finishers will also earn their entry fee back. Beast Racing is offering a $50 quick-time award going to the driver with the fastest lap during qualifying. The quarter-mile computer-generated recreation racing format will follow similar POWRi iRacing from early 2020 events featuring a two-lap qualifier session, 6 lap heat races, an “alphabet soup” of semi-features, and ultimately leading up to the POWRi Midget iNationals feature event. Pre-entries are available beginning Friday, October 30th with an entry limit of 120 competitors, spots will be reserved for POWRi Members in a limited timeframe.
During registration, opening Friday, October 30th, competitors are encouraged to message the POWRi Midget iNationals Facebook page with any pertinent information including potential head-shot photographs of the driver and any car graphics to be featured during the broadcast December 11-12.
