Belleville, IL. (04/01/2021) Running as the support class for The World of Outlaw NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series in the highly anticipated Third Annual Jason Johnson Classic on Saturday, March 27th, the POWRi LOS Super Sprints would not disappoint the packed Lake Ozark Speedway grandstands with outstanding side-by-side 305 Sprinting action all over the three-eighths oval.
After heat racing action would witness James Kinder and Jack Potter claim early victories, the field of twelve competitors was set for the twenty-lap feature event. On-track racing action would see pole-sitter and perennial front-runner Jack Potter suffer mechanical issues taking Jack from the competition. With Potter out of the running, James Kinder and Monty Ferriera would both appear to be their usual fine-driving-forms as the laps faded.
Fighting for the top spot on the racing surface Lincoln Nebraska wheelman Monty Ferriera would earn the edge late, leading the remainder of the race and on to the LOS Super Sprint feature victory. Kinder would keep pace with the leader notching a solid second-place finish as Jordan Welch rounded out the podium. Austin Crane would hold steady the duration of the feature with a great showing of finishing fourth in the same position started. Claiming the hard charger award, Kenny Potter would drive from starting eleventh to finishing fifth.
