Belleville, IL. (06/08/2021) Teams and drivers with the Lucas Oil POWRi West Midget League are gearing up and getting ready to take on Creek County Speedway for the first time this season on Saturday, June 12th. The ¼ mile dirt oval in Sapulpa, OK. will be the series’ first race back in a little under a month. Alongside the POWRi West Midgets, the DSO Champ 305 Sprints, York Plumbing Modifieds, Factory Stocks, and Mini Socks will also be in attendance.
The season Championship points are currently being led by the 2020 National Champion, Jake Neuman out of New Berlin, IL. Neuman has one win, four top five and five top ten finishes with the league. Trey Gropp, who has recently rejoined forces with Mounce Motorsports follows behind in second. Emerson Axsom sits third in season points with one win, four top five and four top ten finishes.
The most previous winner at the ¼ mile dirt oval back in 2020 was none other than Blake Hahn. The Lucas Oil POWRi West Midgets League brought a little over 30 midgets to the track last time they visited, come to the track and catch all of the action.
