Belleville, IL. (07/26/2021) The Lucas Oil National Midget League is gearing up to get back to racing after a weekend off. Midget racing to resume with a one day show at “The World’s Fastest 1/5 Mile Dirt Track,” Macon Speedway this coming Saturday, July 31st. Alongside the midgets will also be the Lucas Oil POWRi 600cc Micro Sprint League Presented by Engler Machine & Tool.
This coming Saturday’s event will leave the Lucas Oil POWRi National Midget League season with less than 15 points races remaining. Currently in the 2021 season standings, Bryant Wiedeman of Colby, KS. still sits atop the points chase with the advantage of 210 points over second place. The young gun, Brent Crews of Denver, NC. sits in second. Both drivers, Crews and Wiedeman are competing for Rookie of the Year award as well.
Bradley Fezard of Bonnerdale, AR. sits on top of the points battle for the Lucas Oil POWRi Micros heading into this weekend. Only 160 points separate Fezard and second place, Tyler Kuykendall.
