Belleville, IL. (8/14/2021) Blazing fast speeds would set the tone for night two of the Inaugural Lucas Oil POWRi Minn-Kota Lightning Sprints Summer Shoot-Out with thirty entries checking into the River Cities Speedway pits. Establishing himself as a front-runner early in the evening, hometown heavy-shoe Bryce Haugeberg would dominate the feature event by leading every lap and claiming the night’s top honors.
Exciting and intense heat racing action would find Bryce Haugeberg, Dexter Dvergsten, Dalton Sexton, and Braden Chiaramonte each win their respective races with Alan Truscinski earning the semi-feature victory. After heat racing points were tallied, Haugeberg would edge out Dvergsten for High Point and Feature-Pole starting honors after racing from starting seventh to finish first in his heat.
Starting twenty-four determined drivers in the Bullring for feature racing on Night Two of the POWRi MKLS Summer Shoot-Out would find pole-sitter Bryce Haugeberg handle every threat to the top spot with ease and poise by grabbing the front on the initial start and setting sail to never look back. Action-packed racing would follow the leading Haugeberg as Braden Chiaramonte would wheel his way to the runner-up finishing position, gaining on the leader at points as tricky lap traffic would come into play in the latter stages of the feature.
Continuing a great consistent showing with strong battles at the northern tracks would find Chris Crowder and Dexter Dvergsten racing wheel-to-wheel once again with Crowder racing his way from starting eighth to finish third as Dvergsten placed fourth. Hard-charging through the field would find Scott Kinney fly past ten other competitors, from starting fifteenth, to round out the top-five finishers at River Cities Speedway for Night Two of the POWRi Minn-Kota Lightning Sprints Summer Shoot-Out.
