(12/17/2021) Running a limited schedule of five POWRi events as a team in 2021, Chase McDermand and Mounce/Stout Motorsports will continue to join forces for full-time 2022 Lucas Oil POWRi National Midget League competition as well as entering into the 36th Annual Chili Bowl Nationals in January.
“We would like to Welcome 2021 Badger Midget Champ, Chase McDermand as one of five Chili Bowl Nationals entries for Mounce/Stout Motorsports. Chase is looking to expand in 2022 and run for Lucas Oil POWRi National Midget championship points, and we look forward to the opportunity to get the 2022 race season underway” said Jay Mounce team co-owner.
Rising through the ranks of midget competition, Chase McDermand, of Springfield Illinois, provides plenty of racing experience behind the wheel by touting a 2021 Badget Midget Championship as well as a limited number of events within POWRi racing. Supporting three top-tens and two top-five in just five feature starts, Chase will sure to be a front-runner out the gate.
Quickly establishing the team as a top contender throughout the country, Mounce/Stout Motorsports brings ample experience and know-how to the table with a POWRi National and West Midget League Rookie of the Year Honors as well as a feature win at Airport Raceway with Trey Gropp behind the wheel in 2020 and will field five total entries in the Chili Bowl Nationals including McDermand.
