Belleville, IL - 2009 POWRi Speedway Motors National Midget champion Brad Kuhn of Avon, Indiana driving the number 17 RW Motorsports Beast Chassis Fontana powered captured Sunday night’s 5^th annual Race 4 Life at Belle-Clair Speedway. Brad started 2^nd row outside and on lap 2 passed Mario Clouser on the top and led the remaining 28 laps on an action filled race going green, white, checkered.  Brown who started in the 5^th position made his way through the field chasing Kuhn until lap 16 when Loyet took over second position.  Rounding out the top 5 were Kuhn, Loyet, Brown, Beachamp and Myers.

 

Andrew Felker of Carl Junction, MO won the 2010 Speedway Motors “Race 4 Life” 600cc Outlaw Micro Sprint event at Belle-Clair Speedway Sunday night sanctioned by POWRi.  Felker started on the front row and paced the event early with Derek King, Ryan Guyett and Travis Senter in tow.  At the midway point, defending POWRi champ, Derek King, would take the lead and pace the field running the cushion.  A late race yellow would bunch up the field allowing Felker to make a charge to the front.  Felker would take the lead once again with 7 laps to go and at one point, would hit the fence coming out of turn two with both wheels riding the backstretch fence and recovered to hold on to the lead and the win.  King would finish second followed by a strong showing by Ryan Guyett and Travis Senter.
