Macon, IL. - Nathan Benson from Concordia MO. driving the number 2 Stallard Chassis Yamaha powered R6 sponsored by Stallard Chassis and Nathan Benson Motorsports captured the WIN on the pre-lim night of the POWRi Speedway Motors Macon Micro Nationals presented by Building Systems of Illinois.  Benson started on the front row outside and passed Brock Zearfoss of Jonestown PA on lap 14 to take the lead.  Benson was never challenged during the remaining 6 laps.  Rounding out the top 6 were Benson, Zearfoss, Austin Laskey, Travis Senter, Joe B. Miller and Trent Beckinger.  The top 6 are locked into Saturday nights A-main and will draw for starting postions in the top 2 rows.  11 rows of 33 cars will race 40 laps for $5,000 to the feature winner.
