I started at a young age watching my father race jalopies on a small dirt track in Lawrence, Kansas. I was hooked.
My dad and brother threw me into a demo derby car when I was 16. I ran derbys until I was 28 - it was all I could afford. I finally had a chance to build a street stock only ran it a couple of times.
In 1997, I started racing cruiser class at Thunderhill Speedway and raced for 2 years .
In 1998, I bought myself a real race car - a modified. I raced until 2006 in the NASCAR modified class in Topeka, Kansas, and at Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas.
In 2020, I started running with Show Me Vintage Racing. I've run at Lucas Oil Speedway, I-70 , CMS, I-35, Grain Valley, and Lakeside.
I'm 62 years young and having the time of my life with my wife, Lisa, who is my pit crew.
