About Brooks
September 2020 at barely 3 years old older brother Lane got stage fright and decided not to go out on the track for a race. Brooks was convinced that meant it was his turn to give it a try and against moms better judgement Dad sent him out there. Following that night he and dad went and bought him a kart of his own.
2021 Brooks competed randomly through the kid kart class at Sandusky, Fremont, State line, liberty indoor, Halloween hustle indoor, the hog barn, and even made the long drive for the clash at the coliseum in Saint Louis.
2022 Brooks ran a full season at Sandusky speedway where he rounded out the tail at 7th in points. Wanting to get more seat time Brooks also got an rbox wing kart that he and his brother ran practice races with a girl just entering into the cage kart class there.
2023 was a slow year for Brooks. He started the season in st Louis at the clash where he got his first feature win ever in the kid kart class to deciding he wanted to remove himself from the Sandusky kid kart class and let the newer kids coming in have their moment. This allowed him to "race" his brother every Sunday at Sandusky in their rbox wing karts which shortly had open engines on them and build his skills for what was coming next! At the end of the season we allowed Brooks to compete in 3 Jr sprint races.
2024 Brooks enters the Jr sprint class and will be running for points at us24 speedway and Miami county speedway.
