Since beginning his racing career in micro sprint competition at age 13, Key has progressed to sprint car and midget action, collecting wins in both disciplines. Key currently competes primarily in his family-owned #21 winged 410ci sprint car with the World of Outlaws, All Stars, Midwest Open Wheel Sprints, and POWRi Outlaw Sprints. Key also often drives the TKH Motorsports #21H 600cc micro sprint, competing with various organizations.
